Our Story
Owner
Adam Eastham
Kernowforno was founded in 2012 by Simon and Sarah Pryce, with a passion for pizza and plenty of ambition. The first pizzas they served were at a local sailing club, where a young man (and Simon's laser racing rival!) was among the first to share in their food. Adam hasn't looked back since! After working in various watersports and hospitality roles around the county and the world, Adam joined Kernowforno full time in 2016 and quickly became part of the furniture. Simon handed over his trusty peel to Adam in 2023, and he carries on Simon and Sarah's vision (with a few twists of his own!); to come together with people over a love of pizza!
Our Philosophy at Kernowforno
At Kernowforno, pizza is more than just food — it’s an experience, a gathering, and a celebration of craft. Our philosophy is rooted in simplicity, authenticity, and the joy of sharing great food with great people.
We believe in cooking the traditional way: with fire, by hand, and with care. Our wood-fired oven is the heart of everything we do, giving each pizza its unique character — a perfect balance of crisp, and deep, smoky flavour. We use honest ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible, because food should reflect the land and people it comes from.
Community matters to us. Whether we’re set up at a bustling Cornish festival or parked in a field for a wedding, we aim to bring warmth, flavour, and a little theatre to every event. For us, it’s about more than serving pizza — it’s about creating moments, bringing people together, and leaving guests with full bellies and happy memories.
Just real food, cooked with fire, served by real people.
